Textile Designer, Maker and Tutor

IMG_0398.jpg

I am a designer, maker, textile enthusiast and tutor living in the Cotswolds.

Combining my experience of teaching  with a love of printed textiles I deliver a variety of workshops throughout the area using a varied collection of beautifully carved Indian woodblocks and teaching  botanical printing using screen printing and dye sublimation.  I am also happy to talk about and demonstrate these techniques to groups and  societies.

I have a passion for colour and texture and my work is inspired by the gardens, trees and landscape of the area. I use local plants, leaves, flowers and herbs to print with using dye sublimation and screen printing, these  techniques enable me to produce vibrant and unique designs. The printed fabric is used to make unique bags, accessories, soft furnishing and garments, I am always interested in special commissions and exhibit at contemporary craft fairs, galleries and through 'Made by Hand online '.     www.madebyhandonline.com

If you would like to discuss a workshop, commission or bespoke project do get in touch.
